Derby County boss Paul Jewell admits he may hand a recall to midfielder Robbie Savage for Wednesday's clash with Chelsea.
"You don't play at the level he has for as long as he has without being a good player. People want to talk about Robbie because he is high profile but some of it is complete nonsense. People don't know the real Robbie Savage.
"He has struggled since he has been here, no-one is going to deny that but he will come good. Sav is a bubbly person but the world seems to have been on his shoulders of late. He has been a bit disappointed with one or two things that have gone in newspapers and he takes it all to heart.
"No-one likes to be left out but I guess somewhere in there was a little bit of relief and he is chomping at the bit ready to go again now.
"It is Chelsea next and it is up to the players on the training pitch to say 'look, play me in the next game'."
