Derby boss Jewell desperate for market to open

Derby County boss Paul Jewell admits he's desperate for the winter market to open.

Midfielder Stephen Pearson will be out for around four weeks with a dislocated shoulder while striker Robert Earnshaw damaged a calf muscle.

Jewell groaned: "We're stretched very thin. I wish it was January already so I could bring in some new faces."
