Derby County boss Billy Davies admits the January market will make or break their Premiership survival hopes.

After defeat yesterday to Everton, Davies said: "We have shown this season that we can compete in this division but we didn't do it here. Everton moved the ball around better and these teams have got the edge on us.

"We just need to get to the transfer window and change it around. January will be crucial for us."
