Deportivo La Coruna coach Víctor Sánchez has signed a new deal.

Depor president Tino Fernández has announced Víctor has signed a one-year extension of his contract.

Fernández explained that although the deal has only been renewed for another 12 months, "If everything goes well, which I'm sure will be the case, more new contracts will follow".

Víctor, meanwhile, voiced his happiness at having committed his future to the club: "I'm motivated and excited by the idea of helping Depor to grow. The longer I can work here, the better".

"It's a simple one-year contract, but the most important thing is that my wish is to stay here for the medium or long term", the manager added.
