Gregory Tade suggests Tommy Wright is the best man to lead St Johnstone.
The 26-year old French striker has left McDiarmid Park to join Romanian side CFR Cluj but still feels that new boss Wright will bring plenty to the Saints.
"I was looking forward to working with Tommy," said Tade.
"Someone asked me a few weeks ago when the club were looking for a manager and I said that he was the best man for the job.
"He will do really well for St Johnstone.
"The players all have a lot of respect for him, he's a very good coach and he's been a manager before.
"He is someone I have a lot of respect for and I wanted to play for him, but I hope he understands I just couldn't turn this chance down."
