Departing Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic has undergone an Ajax medical in Amsterdam.

Tadic was expected to go on holiday after Serbia's World Cup elimination, but De Telegraaf says he chose to postpone his plans in order to settle his Ajax move.

Tadic met with club officials, including old acquaintances Alfred Schreuder and Henk Veldmate.

The midfielder's move could be confirmed by Ajax media today.

He is joining Ajax for a fee rising €13.7m, having agreed terms over a four-year contract.
