Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle has promised fans a big "gift" in the coming weeks.

Reacting to complaints from Fiorentina fans over their quiet summer market campaign, Della Valle declared: "A gift for Florence will soon arrive.

"[Sports director] Pantaleo Corvino is working hard and I've left him to do what he needs to do.

"There's no need for concern, a gift will soon arrive."
