Tottenham defender Michael Dawson is of the belief that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has not received the recognition he has deserved lately.
The Frenchman was a massive reason as to why Spurs beat West Ham United 3-2 on Monday night but it was two-goal hero Gareth Bale who took all the adulation.
Dawson feels that Lloris, who made a couple of vital saves including when he denied Matt Taylor who was through on goal to make it 3-1, should get some of the plaudits for the victory.
"One guy I want to mention is Hugo," Dawson told the club's official website.
"He pulled me out of jail when I played Matt Taylor onside. He's got a real shiner for it as well!
"That was massive. It was 2-1 at the time and at 3-1, it's probably game over, certainly in terms of winning.
"It would be hard to come back from there, but Hugo made a tremendous save and he did the same in the first half as well."
He added on Lloris: "Hugo has certainly settled in well, he's been brilliant since he's been in the team and he deserves a massive mention as well."
