Barcelona ace Deco admits he dreams of playing in the Premiership, despite turning down a move to Chelsea in 2004 and the chance to link up with his old Porto boss Jose Mourinho.

Deco still regards Mourinho as one of the best managers he has ever worked with and they still talk regularly.

But Deco insists he is happy at Barcelona and would welcome the arrival of Chelsea star Frank Lampard should he decide to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Deco told the Mirror: "Lampard would be really welcome in Barcelona, every good player is welcome here.

"But I'm not sure that Chelsea would allow Lampard to leave because he is a very good player.

"I like the English league a lot and every year there is always a lot of excitement so that appeals to me.

"But I have a contract with Barcelona until 2010. I am happy there and I would only leave Barcelona if I felt they didn't want me anymore."
