St Etienne defender Mathieu Debuchy admits William Saliba has pumped him for information about life with Arsenal.

Saliba signed for Debuchy's old club last summer and spent this term on-loan with ASSE.

"With William we get along well, we talked a lot about Arsenal. I'm still in touch with people from there. They asked me a lot of questions about him. I know he has the ability to win with Arsenal quickly, and I hope it will be fine for him," Debuchy told Bein Sport.

"I told him to stay the way he was, because he's a guy with his head on his shoulders and he's a worker. Of course that will change him at the start, so he will have to adapt quickly because the Premier League is a championship that goes very quickly and in terms of training sessions, he can change too."
