Portsmouth will move to a new level when they leave Fratton Park in 2009, says former club captain Arjen de Zeeuw.

"The big thing is they must build this new stadium," said De Zeeuw. "Fratton Park can't generate enough money through the turnstiles so the club are reliant on [Gaydamak] pumping money in. In the long term the club can only be sustainable with a bigger stadium because otherwise they will always be dependent on the money of one man and if he pulls out there will be trouble."
