AC Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong hopes coach Clarence Seedorf is allowed to stay.
Seedorf is expected to be dumped as coach this week.
"From a personal point of view I am happy," De Jong told Algemeen Dagblad. "I have played a lot of matches and I have also started scoring goals.
"Seedorf? He became our Coach during the course of the season, we know each other well and we are from similar backgrounds.
"We have the same winning mentality, neither of us will ever lose our identity."
