Kevin de Bruyne admits he's inspired by Manchester City teammate David Silva.

De Bruyne is baffled by this lack of recognition for the unassuming Spaniard, who shies away from the spotlight.

"David is unbelievable to play alongside," said the Belgium playmaker. “He's very under-rated, and that means a lot considering his standards.

“The thing is, we don't have competition [between them].

“I'd prefer it if he scores even more, because it helps us.

“Everybody is doing their part. One day it will be me, on another day it will be David. Obviously I'm very satisfied with the way I'm playing, I feel I'm playing really well."
