Both PSG and Bayern Munich made late attempts to trump Manchester City for Kevin de Bruyne last week, it has been revealed.
De Bruyne signed for City on Sunday from VfL Wolfsburg.
PSG, despite their swoop for former Manchester United winger Angel di Maria, tried again for De Bruyne last week.
"Am I not a priority, Kevin wondered? That has changed a lot. At the end of the transfer market, PSG still insisted again for Kevin, but we saw no advantage for us," agent Patrick de Koster revealed to HLN.
Bayern also made an attempt, but De Koster added: "Since they weren't willing to pay as much for the player - and wanted to park him for another year at Wolfsburg - we called off the deal."
