Former Barcelona and Rangers star Ronald de Boer says Dennis Bergkamp isn't ready to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

Bergkamp is currently coaching at Ajax.

De Boer told talkSPORT: "He doesn't want to take the step into management too early.

"He's doing a good job working with Frank [de Boer], getting good experiences and being influenced by the right people.

"People have a lot of respect for him so maybe in two or three years he can make that step but first I think he'll want to start smaller. It's just too early at the moment for him to step into management."
