DC United have secured the services of 2013 MLS SuperDraft selection Taylor Kemp.
The defender was taken with the number 17 pick from University of Maryland and has now signed a professional deal with the Washington club.
"We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Taylor," said DC United General Manager Dave Kasper.
"He will provide us as an excellent option as an attacking left back, and we look forward to his future with our club."
Kemp was a Second Team All-ACC selection in 2012 and has been involved with the USA at U18 and U20 level.
