DC United secure McTavish to new contract

DC United announced Wednesday the club has re-signed defender Devon McTavish. In a season that saw a host of line up changes from the previous year, McTavish was one of the most versatile players on the squad, playing 26 games and tallying a goal and four assists. Per team and League policy, terms of the agreement were not released.

"Devon has been a solid contributor for our club over the past three years, and we are pleased to have finalized a contract that will see him continue playing at D.C. United," said United General Manager Dave Kasper. "He has been a key part of two MLS Supporters' Shields and a U.S. Open Cup championship, and we look forward to his future contributions to our club."

DC United travel to Los Angeles to face LA Galaxy on March 22nd.
