Adam Cristman has joined DC United from MLS rivals Kansas City Wizards.

The 25-year old forward will land at DC as they in return give Kansas City one of its international roster spots until the end of next year.

DC general manager Dave Kasper said he was happy to have brought in a player of Cristman's ilk who has MLS experience after playing with New England Revolution and the Wizards.

"We are pleased to have concluded a trade for Adam," said Kasper. "He is a hard working, athletic striker who will provide solid cover for us. We look forward to having him join us in pre-season camp."
