Michael Dawson admits Tottenham players were "devastated" by their late defeat to Wigan Athletic.
"Everyone is frustrated - the manager, the players, the fans, everyone involved in the club," Dawson told the club's website after training at Spurs Lodge on Monday.
"You know it's a tough battle at Wigan and if you can keep a clean sheet, you've done well. We did that for 91 minutes.
"You look back and it's three points we should have with a point at Wigan, a point at Newcastle and point at West Brom. That hurts more than anything.
"To concede so late was devastating. We have to pick ourselves up and we have to stand up and be counted.
"Every time you lose a game you have to look ahead to the next one but it hurts when you lose. You could see the disappointment in the dressing room.
"The sooner the next game comes around the better because it gives us the chance to put it right. It's down to us."
