Davy Propper is delighted with his new deal at Brighton.

The midfielder has extended terms to 2023.

Propper declared: "The level of the Premier League is very high. I expected it to be tough and I knew you had to fight for every point, but it was even harder than I thought.

"My daughter is three years old and is almost completely English! It is nice to see that they are in place in a new city and in a new country."

Brighton boss Graham Potter also said, “I'm delighted Davy has agreed this new contract which he fully deserves.

“I was aware of his contribution in our first two years in the Premier League and since I came to the club, he has shown his qualities both on and off the pitch on a consistent basis.

“He is a great professional who is always looking to improve every aspect of his game and I'm really pleased that he is going to be part of our journey going forward."
