Davy Klaassen is delighted with his move to Inter Milan.

The midfielder has left Ajax for Inter, signing a 12 month deal plus the option for another year.

“I am a complete player who can help the team both in the offensive and defensive phases. I am here because I want to win many trophies," said Klaassen to Inter TV.

“I prefer to play in a central position. I think this is my best role.

“I've always managed to score in my career. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but many times I actually scored the opening goal.

“That's why they gave me this nickname. I'm very proud of it.

“I expect to have fun in Italy. It's a difficult league and I've heard a lot of positive stories from former teammates. I can't wait to start playing.

“Sometimes, you have to change the environment. I can't wait to start this new adventure and achieve new successes with Inter."
