Sean Davis has hailed Portsmouth teammate Nwankwo Kanu after the Nigerian's matchwinning performance against Bolton Wanderers.
He told The News: "Kanu's unbelievable, you can't get the ball off him, he's that good. He's probably one of the best players on the ball I have ever seen.
"He doesn't sprint that much but you can play it into him and it's safe. He's not going to give the ball away, he brings other people into the game. He will probably be upset he hasn't played as much this year but we've been going one up front with Crouchie.
"When Kanu gets his chance he's proven what a quality player he is time and time again. He got the winner in the Cup final last year, which was a massive goal. And it was a massive goal on Saturday.
"It was a must-win game for us and we managed to sneak it 1-0."
