Manchester City youngster Manu Garcia has revealed that his mentor David Silva handed him his Capital One Cup medal on Sunday.
Garcia is regarded as one of the most promising young players currently in the ranks at City and has been compared to current first team star Silva on many occasions.
Silva has been mentoring Garcia closely and the youngster has now gone on to reveal that the Spanish international even gave him his League Cup medal following the penalty shootout triumph over Liverpool at Wembley.
The attacking midfielder said: “He asked me if they gave me one and I said 'no' and he immediately took his off and gave it me. So that was amazing.
“He's really good with me, he's always trying to give me advice and he was really happy for me to do well against Chelsea. I'm just thankful for him."
Look closely at Garcia's Twitter post below and you'll notice a certain medal draped around his neck while Silva's is bare.
