David Luiz says Arsenal are "improving every day" under manager Mikel Arteta.

The Brazil defender spoke to Efe after yesterday's 3-2 defeat of Everton.

Asked about his new Spanish coach, Luiz declared: "We try to improve every day.

"Arteta has come up with a different idea of the game. We try to understand it in the best possible way to play well.

"I think we are doing it, with everyone involved, that's why things are improving."
