Newcastle United midfielder Dan Barlasar hopes to see Premier League action before the end of the season.
Barlaser says he is ready to grasp his unexpected chance to shine at Newcastle United after his loan at Rotherham ended prematurely.
Speaking to the club's TV channel, he said: "It was very good to see familiar faces.
"It was tough to be fair because I haven't trained for four or five weeks now.
"I've been ticking over with my running.
"The gaffer saying he will give me the chance and wanting to have a look at me is very good for me and I am going to try to take it.
"I am going to show the manager and the lads what I've got.
"Hopefully I can keep my place for next year.
"Being at a club (Rotherham) where you are playing regularly has helped me massively.
"I'll take the experience from there into my training here."
