Dan Agger was happy to be back at Liverpool yesterday.

The Dane played for the Liverpool Legends in victory over Ajax at Anfield.

Agger told Bold: "Now I've tried it several times, and it's equally great every time. It is a great experience, although of course I have played here many times.

"It continues to be a good experience – also because it's for a good cause – but you quickly fall into a role when you step onto the field, and it was great.

"I didn't expect to play 90 minutes, but my body was pretty much up to it. Even though I almost never touch a ball, it was nice to be able to get through it completely.

"I can already feel it now, but tomorrow morning (Sunday morning) I can feel it even more. It's going surprisingly well though, because it's not much that I get to test myself during such a year."
