The father of Karim Rekik says Feyenoord have themselves to blame for his son moving to Manchester City.
The 17 year-old defender moved to City in the summer.
And Dad Mo revealed: "He started last season with great anticipation in the office of Mr. Beenhakker. He hoped that a route for him to the first team was being mapped out.
"He wanted to know if he would train with the firsts.
"But they just put a paper under his nose that he could sign. It's a shame, really, because Karim had a great time at Feyenoord, the club where he grew up from six years of age."
