The father of Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku is pleased his son's move to Chelsea is almost complete.
Lukaku, 18, arrives in London later this week for a medical and to finalise terms on a five year contract after Anderlecht and Chelsea agreed a fee over the weekend.
Dad Roger said :"We were very nervous because it took such a long time. We were prepared for the worst but are now relieved. There were other clubs interested, but Chelsea were always his club. I got a bit angry with him. I said that could be a problem - there are players who play for Liverpool who support other teams."
The Blues fended off interest from the Reds for Lukaku and will pay an initial £10m, rising to £18m with add-ons.
