The father of Manchester City star Samir Nasri was unimpressed by his son's goal celebrations against England.
Nasri has been told off by his father for the way he reacted to scoring against England.
After grabbing the equaliser for France in the Group D opener, Nasri put a finger to his lips and then said "shut your face" while pointing to the press box.
Nasri's father Abdelhamid said: "I've explained to Samir that it wasn't the best way to respond.
"I don't give my backing to mood swings like that. He shouldn't have made this gesture because people, including children, are watching and because the whole country was behind him.
"Samir was tactless towards journalists, because he has been through difficult times."
