The father of released Sunderland midfielder Ricardo Alvarez says he isn't short of European offers.
Alvarez was discarded by Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat over the summer, which led to a registration row with Inter Milan.
The midfielder is now a free agent and Dad, Carlos, says he could stay in Europe this season.
"Do not discard Porto nor Benfica, but the best proposal is from a German club," said Carlos.
Sunderland dumped Alvarez after refusing to meet an agreed €11.5 million fee for his signing with Inter Milan.
