The father of Gonzalo Higuain has ruled out a River Plate move for the Juventus striker.

Higuain has been linked with River this week.

But Dad, Jorge, told Goal: "For now, he can't go back to River Plate.

"For now, it's impossible. Gonzalo has a contract for this year and the next."

The 32-year-old began his career with the Argentine side before leaving to join Real Madrid in January 2007.
