Diego Forlan's Dad, Pedro, is aware of the interest of Barcelona in his son.

Barca are eyeing the Atletico Madrid striker and Pedro said: "We are aware of the Blaugrana, a team that reminds me very much of the Brazil of the 1970 World Cup in Mexico.

"Forlan and Eto'o are incompatible? I do not think so. Both are outstanding and this type of player can adapt to any circumstance. Diego would be a great purchase for Barca.

"Now that he has settled in the Spanish Liga, he is scoring goals, a factor that should not be underestimated. Look at Thierry Henry: after coming from another European championship, he first had to adapt to the rhythms of Spanish football."
