Marc Cucurella admits he's feeling better his place at Chelsea this season.
The left-back is now impressing after a tough first season with the Blues.
"I was not satisfied with my first season, but I can learn a lot, especially in the tough moments," he told Sky Sports.
"Before I came here, I had always played and played well, never had any problems. But when I came here I wasn't playing at my level. I was a little frustrated, and I can learn from it.
"I think this season is better. I feel good mentally, and I think that's one of the most important things. If you feel good in life and feel good mentally, I think you play better."
On Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino, he added: "He is a coach who likes to work, and I like that too because it feels better when I work hard.
"We have started to build a new project and it is a bit difficult because we have many new players. But I think we are starting to find the right way now. If we continue like this and don't stop working hard, I think we can achieve good things."
