Crystal Palace are threatening Birmingham City's hopes of signing former Tottenham defender Anthony Gardner.
The Mirror says Palace are on red alert for Anthony Gardner after his Bosman move to Birmingham stalled.
The defender, 30, has been offered a 12-month contract, but is holding out for a two-year deal.
Gardner had a successful loan spell at Palace last season from Championship rivals Hull.
