Dwight Gayle will undergo a medical with Newcastle United ahead of a £10million transfer.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Crystal Palace striker Gayle flew to Newcastle on Wednesday for the medical and is now expected to be unveiled as a Magpies player on Thursday.

Fulham had been showing serious interest in 25-year-old Gayle but it appears as though he will make the move to link up with Rafa Benitez at St James' Park as the Toon prepare for life in the Championship.
