Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha thinks that former manager Frank de Boer should have been given more time his job.

The Dutch manager was sacked after opening the league season with four consecutive defeats with Palace.

Former England manager Roy Hodgson has now taken charge of the Eagles on a two-year deal.

Zaha told talkSPORT: "I slightly think he should have got a bit more time, as it's not easy to transition from how we used to play to the way we play now. But football is ruthless; if you're not getting the results you get fired."
