According to reports from the Croydon Advertiser, Crystal Palace have missed out on the services of Valencia centre back Aymen Abdennour.
Following a dreadful start to the season, Palace manager Frank de Boer is looking to strengthen his squad during the final days of the transfer window and bringing in a new defender had been seen as a priority for the Dutchman.
Abdennour had strongly been linked with a move to Palace but now according to reports, the Eagles are set to miss out as the Tunisian international has agreed to join Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg instead.
