Crystal Palace ready to deal in Hodgson

Veteran English coach Roy Hodgson will remain as Crystal Palace manager next season.

The 75-year-old took over in the second half of last season from the sacked Patrick Vieira.

After leading the club to safety and playing excellent football along the way, Hodsgon has earned another year.

Per Sky Sports, he will be the club's coach for next term, as the two parties have a verbal agreement.

The Sun had previously stated that Hodgson was the man Palace wanted for one more year.

The club hope he can stabilize their situation before they go out and sign a younger coach.
