Crystal Palace not after Blackburn ace Rhodes

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis insists the club is not in pursuit of Blackburn Rovers star Jordan Rhodes.

The Scotland international, who has scored 11 Championship goals this season, has been linked with a possible winter move to Selhurst Park but Pulis quickly played down that speculation saying he would be too expensive for the Eagles.

"We'll get linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry from now until the window closes, I should imagine," he said.

"We couldn't afford Jordan Rhodes."

Since arriving at Blackburn from Huddersfield Town in August 2012, 23-year old Rhodes has scored 37 goals in 62 league outings for the Lancashire club.
