Crystal Palace midfielder Jairo Riedewald is hoping for more minutes under manager Roy Hodgson this season.
Riedewald played a full 90 in yesterday's 2-2 draw with Brondby.
The Dutchman said: "Obviously I've worked with Roy for four seasons already, and it's going to be the fifth one!
“He's a great manager, so I'm happy that he came back, and happy that I could be on the pitch a bit more this pre-season as well. We'll see how it plays this season and if I can be on the pitch a bit more.
“He [Hodgson] knows where I want to play and what I can bring to the team. I think that helps a lot. It's a team sport and he has to make a decision for the 12th August [at Sheffield United]. We'll see what happens, but I'm always happy for the club."
