Crystal Palace have made a move for Palermo attacker Franco Vazquez.

The Croydon Advertiser says Palace are believed to have had a bid rejected for Palermo ace Franco Vazquez.

News from Italy this morning suggest the Eagles have been in contact with the Serie A outfit, who are only just survived relegation last season.

However, Vazquez was a bright spot for Palermo with a number of assists and eye-catching displays. He played 37 games in all competitions and scored eight times.
