Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni says any new signing must buy into their team spirit.

While Speroni says he would welcome new additions to the squad, he said it is important to fit in with the existing group, like new arrivals Andros Townsend and James Tomkins have done already.

"The new guys have come in and done really well," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

"They have come in and fitted in with the team spirit and this is very important.

"I am not sure what is going to happen, but if people come in that is a positive to help the group.

"But if nothing happens, we have a good squad of players here at the moment.

"We have a good team spirit, which is important in any team, and if we can maintain that togetherness in the squad, we have a good chance [of doing well]."
