Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw is determined to win over manager Jose Mourinho.

Shaw hopes to return to action in Wednesday's EFL Cup quarter-final against West Ham at Old Trafford after being left out of the squad completely for Sunday's Premier League draw with Slaven Bilic's side.

The Daily Mail says Crystal Palace have been linked with a loan move for Shaw in the January transfer window and there would be no shortage of other Premier League clubs interested in signing him.

However, it is understood that Shaw has no intention of leaving United on loan and wants to establish himself as the first-choice left-back under Mourinho. He may re-assess the situation in the summer if it does not improve but remains committed to the club.
