Crystal Palace have emerged as favourites to seal a loan deal for Chelsea's English striker Patrick Bamford.

Having starred for Middlesbrough last season, the 21-year-old has been linked with loan moves to a host of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham United.

Palace, though, believe they have won the battle to secure reigning Championship Player of the Year winner Bamford´s services for next season, according to reports in The Telegraph.
