Crystal Palace are eyeing Newcastle United defender Ciaran Clark.

The Telegraph says the Eagles are keeping tabs on Clark's contract situation.

Clark, 31, has just returned to the Newcastle starting XI after suffering an injury at the beginning of 2020, and has impressed this term.

He is out of contract at the end of this season, though, and Steve Bruce confirmed that the Magpies are keen to extend his stay beyond this season - his fifth at the club.

Mamadou Sakho is reportedly set to leave the club after falling out of favour and Clark is among the options the Eagles are monitoring, according to the report.
