Crystal Palace are ready to offer Brede Hangeland a new deal at Selhurst Park.
The centre-half's current deal with the Eagles runs out on June 30 and he was named on a list of players to be released from the club but Sky Sports suggests that Alan Pardew is set to keep him in south London.
The 33-year old Norwegian joined the Eagles last August on a free transfer, having left Fulham after their relegation from the Premier League.
Hangeland made 14 league appearances and scored two goals for the Eagles in his debut season at the club.
