Crystal Palace management is delighted with Steve Mandanda's impact this season.

Palace chairman Steve Parish believes goalkeeper Mandanda is the “signing of the summer".

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser, Parish said: “He allows us to play the way we are playing – he is a football goalkeeper.

“Maybe he wasn't ready before and he was an icon at Marseille, but we picked our moment and there was a lot of hard work that went into it."
