Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is weighing up a move for free agent Martin Caceres.

The Uruguay defender was allowed to come off contract at Juventus last summer and has remained a free agent.

The defender underwent knee surgery last year, but is now fully fit and eager to resume his career.

ESPN says Allardyce is keen and ready to offer Caceres a contract.

The stopper has also been in talks with Fiorentina this month.
