Crystal Palace and Brighton are chasing Newcastle midfielder Mohamed Diame.

The Daily Express says Diame is out of contract in the summer and could leave St James Park despite closing in on 100 appearances for the club.

The former West Ham United man helped the Magpies win a Championship title in 2017 is on the radar for both the Eagles and Seagulls.

Both Palace and Brighton are keen to bolster their squad this summer and Diame is yet to be offered a new contract by the Magpies.

He could however snub both clubs and stay with Rafa Benitez's Newcastle squad after forcing his way back into the manager's plans this season.
