Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has slammed Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez.

Vieira has been particularly unimpressed by the Argentina World Cup winner mocking France striker Kylian Mbappe.

"I think it removes a little from Argentina's business when I see the pictures with their national team goalkeeper," said Vieira.

"I don't understand why he needs to mock Mbappé. It can be hard to control people's emotions and decisions, but it's idiotic for Martinez to do that.

"I was very disappointed when I heard the songs that you probably heard too. Really disappointed. I'd much rather see the behavior of the Argentine fans during the matches."
